At InnerFight Ireland, we use running as a tool to build better humans, physically, mentally, and emotionally. Based in Wicklow, we’re a coaching community led by Simon Connaughton and Sharon Moorhouse, focussed on helping people improve at life through endurance, community, and having a good time along the way.

Community Membership

Our Community Membership is built for runners who want structure, support, and accountability without full 1:1 coaching. You'll get weekly programmed runs (Track, Tempo, Long), synced to your watch via TrainingPeaks. Stay connected through our WhatsApp group, join local and global meetups and camps, and be part of the greater InnerFight global community. Learn more

Meet the coaches

Simon Connaughton

Simon is an endurance coach with InnerFight Ireland, based in Greystones, Wicklow. He helps people build strength through running, structure, and community. Having found running during a difficult period in his own life, he now uses it as a powerful tool to support others through mental health challenges, habit change, and personal transformation. His coaching is grounded in clarity of purpose, consistency, and energy – driven by the belief: “I want to give people back what running has given me.” Simon works with clients of all levels from first-time runners to ultra-endurance athletes, through coaching, structure, open communication, and a supportive team environment. As a passionate advocate for mental health and well-being, he offers more than just training plans; he creates a space where people can grow stronger – physically, mentally, and emotionally.

Sharon Moorhouse

Sharon is a passionate run coach who believes that running is about more than just miles and medals. It's about moving well, building strength, and truly understanding your body. Her coaching blends mobility, strength training, and mindset work to help runners perform at their best while enjoying the process. With certifications as a yoga teacher, strength & conditioning coach, and UESCA running coach, Sharon brings a well-rounded and evidence-informed approach to every client she works with. Above all, Sharon thrives on connection. Whether you're chasing a new distance, returning from injury, or simply looking to run with more confidence and joy, she’s here to help you get there.
