Buoyancy

The low buoyancy of the Apex Flex wetsuit will allow you to maintain your natural body position, especially if you are an experienced swimmer with a refined technique.

Hydrodynamics

With the Apex Flex, you can move through the water almost as if you were not wearing a wetsuit, which allows you to take full advantage of your skill in the swimming segment. The combination of highly hydrophobic materials and a shorter zipper will allow you to shave a few seconds off transitions in your next triathlon competition. The Power-fit compressive lining, along with Orca's high-end Yamamoto 40 technology, provides a perfect fit in the torso area, ensuring that water will not flow through the wetsuit. Nano Ice SCS coating improves hydrodynamics, reducing water resistance and allowing the open water swimmer to reach top speed with each stroke.

Thermal insulation

0.88 Free technology was developed with Yamamoto exclusively for Orca, with the goal of creating the most elastic material on the market today. The finest neoprene on the market is 0.5-mm thick and combines the best lining with a titanium coating for better thermal insulation. This revolutionary material is placed in the arms of the suit, providing needed compression to your arm muscles as well as maximum flexibility for bending your elbow with each swim stroke. Unlike traditional neoprene derived from oil, Yamamoto neoprene stands out because of its high degree of elasticity, lightness and durability. Made from limestone, Yamamoto neoprene is more sustainable than materials derived from oil and is resistant to extreme climatic conditions, meaning it lasts longer. In addition, it’s latex-free, minimising risk of allergy, and is produced with renewable energy. The use of Carbon Black without PAH ensures the cleanest and most ecological material
