Wicklow sports shop to host sale of second-hand sports gear

A well-known sports shop in Wicklow town is hosting a two-day initiative aimed at giving pre-loved sports gear a new home. The Sports Room will hold its first 'Second Hand September' event from 10am to 4pm on Sunday, September 21, as part of a global movement to combat waste and fast fashion.

The initiative invites customers to bring back quality items originally purchased from the store - including clothing, runners, bikes, or wetsuits - so they can be resold.
